2022 Arkademy - CISDI: Kelana PN Prima

Saya berkesempatan untuk terpilih sebagai 1 dari 12 penerima beasiswa dan peserta lokakarya fotografi bertajuk KELANA PN-PRIMA (Pencerah Nusantara - Puskesmas Responsif Inklusif Masyarakat Aktif Bermakna). Kegiatan ini di kelola oleh Arkademy Project bekerjasama dengan CISDI (Center for Indonesia's Strategic Development Initiatives). 

Mengutip dari laman Arkademy Project: Program PN-PRIMA hadir dengan tujuan utama untuk membentuk kesiapsiagaan dan respons krisis kesehatan yang inklusif di komunitas melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat bermakna. Dalam mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, CISDI telah merekrut lebih dari seribu kader yang bertugas sebagai pendamping puskesmas dalam meningkatkan layanan kesehatan di tingkat komunitas. Penggerakan kader ini juga salah satu upaya CISDI untuk turut membantu pengembangan kader kesehatan di Indonesia agar menjadi sosok yang secara profesional diakui negara sebagai angkatan kerja. 12 peserta terpilih akan mendokumentasikan cerita kader-kader puskesmas dari Kab. Bekasi, Kota Bandung dan Depok. Melalui hasil dari lokakarya cerita foto ini, diharapkan publik secara luas dapat mengenal lebih jauh tentang kader dan tugas mulianya dalam membantu puskesmas sehingga meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman publik tentang peran kader sebagai tenaga kesehatan yang esensial untuk masyarakat.

Dengan terpilih sebagai salah satu peserta, saya berkesempatan menghadiri lokakarya luring yang diadakan pada 29-31 Juli 2022 dan 12-14 Agustus 2022. Pada kesempatan ini, pembekalan mengenai penugasan yang diberikan, serta materi terkait fotografi lainnya disampaikan dengan seksama oleh para mentor: Kurniadi Widodo, Yoppy Pieter, Rara Sekar Larasati dan Ben K.C. Laksana. Di periode antara kedua lokakarya tersebut, saya berkesempatan untuk memotret Ibu Ros, seorang kader dari wilayah Bekasi. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan keseharian beliau, bertukar cerita dan juga mengunjungi para lansia yang menjadi orang-orang yang beliau bantu untuk dapat memiliki akses layanan menyeluruh ke puskesmas, maka karya-karya ini pun lahir.

I had the opportunity to be selected as 1 of 12 scholarship recipients and participants in a photography workshop entitled KELANA PN-PRIMA (Pencerah Nusantara - Puskesmas Responsif Inklusif Masyarakat Aktif Bermakna). This activity is managed by the Arkademy Project in collaboration with CISDI (Centre for Indonesia's Strategic Development Initiatives).

Quoting from the Arkademy Project page: The PN-PRIMA program exists with the main objective of establishing inclusive health crisis preparedness and response in the community through meaningful community empowerment. In realizing this goal, CISDI has recruited more than a thousand cadres who serve as assistants to the public health centres in improving health services at the community level. Mobilizing these cadres is also one of CISDI's efforts to help develop health cadres in Indonesia so that they become professional figures recognized by the state as part of the workforce. The 12 selected participants will document the stories of the health centres cadres from the regency of Bekasi, Bandung City and Depok. Through the results of this photo story workshop, it is hoped that the wider public will be able to learn more about cadres and their noble task in assisting public health centres so as to increase public knowledge and understanding of the role of cadres as essential health workers for the community.

By being selected as one of the participants, I had the opportunity to attend offline workshops held on 29-31 July 2022 and 12-14 August 2022. On this occasion, briefings on the assignments given, as well as other materials related to photography were delivered carefully by the mentors: Kurniadi Widodo, Yoppy Pieter, Rara Sekar Larasati and Ben K.C. Like. In the period between the two workshops, I had the opportunity to photograph Mrs. Ros, a cadre from the Bekasi regency. By following her daily activities, exchanging stories and also visiting the elderly who were the people she helped to have access to comprehensive services at the public health centre, these works were born.
