2012 Koreaholic Fest by Kompas Gramedia JESICA INDAH

As we all know, Korean Pop or simply known as K-Pop, together with everything with taste of Korea like dresses, hairstyles and everything is rising its popularity in Indonesia. This phenomenon is being used by many event organizers to organize events with a taste of Korea. From bringing Korea’s stars to perform in the country, forming music groups with Korean style, even making a Korea look alike event, just like what I will cover in this article.

An event held by Kompas Gramedia titled Koreaholic Fest was a success. With entrance ticket only IDR 30.000, it was held on July 15, 2012 in Central Park Mall, Jakarta, Indonesia. Brought in hundreds participants and visitors, so many activities inside the festival, with all-in-one concept, visitors expected to have a Korea experience in one festival. Some activities available in the festival are K-Pop cover dance competition, Korean Star look-a-like contest, Best Fandom Competition, Photo Hunting Competition, Cooking demo and Bazaar.
